Payment Terms

To book your tipi for private hire, there is a 30% deposit to pay at the time of booking.

We will add a 4% service fee to your deposit payment to cover our PayPal charge.

The balance of your booking is required at least 8 weeks before the start of your event rental date, unless otherwise arranged or stated.

For festival bookings, the payment due by date is specified on the booking form.  If payment is not received satisfying this condition and you have not contacted us, your reservation is liable to be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded.

Booking confirmation will be sent to you via email or post once funds are cleared.

When booking with us all our prices are in £ Sterling.

If you are paying from a country who uses € for currency you will be charged at the PayPal exchange rate on the day you book.

If you pay your balance from a country who use € for currency you will also be charged at the exchange rate and this will be dependent on the way you pay.

If you settle your remaining balance by PayPal, Credit or Debit card there will be a 4% service fee added onto the balance payable. You will have the option to pay by Bank Transfer to avoid the service fee.

Refundable damage deposit

A £75 refundable damage deposit may be required at the time of booking, per tipi hired. This is automatically added at checkout. This is to cover the replacement of tipi equipment or furnishings missing, soiled or damaged.  Provided the tipi and furnishings are left in a clean, undamaged state, the deposit will be refunded after the event/hire period.

Booking confirmation

When you book you will receive an automated booking confirmation from the website to confirm your deposit payment.

This will be followed up with a further booking confirmation from Eve which will detail the total amount due including any refundable damage deposit payments required and the ways you can pay your balance.

Ways to pay your balance:

You balance can be paid by;

• Bank transfer to Eves Tipis, 49326703, sort 09-01-27, Please reference with surname and abbreviated festival name e.g. IW for Isle of Wight Festival or ABR for Adventure Bike Rider Festival, etc.
• For payment by PayPal or debit/credit card there is a surcharge of 4%.

Late payments

From a period of 30 days after the agreed payment date, interest will be charged at 8% above Bank of England base rate for late payments, until the debt has been paid.

Cancellation Policy/Refunds

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, cancellation is necessary, the following conditions apply:-

• No refund will be made if the booking is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the rental start date/event or the client(s) is unable to attend the event for whatever reason.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of ordering – full refund available less deposit (unless order is placed less than 14 days before the event, in which case, refund is not guaranteed).
• Cancellations made between these times – 50% refund available less deposit.
• In the event of  Eve’s Tipis being unable to provide the service due to cancellation of the festival/event through no fault of our own, for example due to weather, flooding, terrorist activities, or other causes, the same cancellation policies will apply.
• Clients are expected to take out their own insurance against such possibilities.
